Helping with the Animals
Mudbrick Lodge has a revolving and seemingly ever increasing number of resident entertainers - from Dora the cocker spaniel, Tinker the colossal cat, Charlie the cheeky cat who loves to go for 5k walks, the tenant ducks, the companionable calves, the chummy chickens, the token sheep, Willy and Legend and infamous goats, Gus, Golly, Ronaldo the family of alpacas, to the famous Verve and Bolli, our Kune Kune pigs. They love the attention.
By the time you leave the Mudbrick Lodge, Tinker the cat and Heidi the dog will be good friends...

Horse Treks
Jack and Roz take you through the forested hills alongside the Pelorus river with stream crossings on well formed tracks, while stopping for photos and breaks as you require them. They take you upstream through the beautiful Pelorus River where you can swim your horse if you wish.
Horses are suitable for all levels of riding experience. Rides vary from a one-hour River Loop ride (suitable for children over 8 years and inexperienced riders), to other rides more suitable for those who are more adventurous. The Champagne Ride takes four to five hours with a Champagne Lunch en-route.
At the end of a Trail ride with Jack and Roz, they have you feeling like the horse whisperer!
