Nelson Markets
Nelson is the core hub for craftspeople and it hosts a variety of creators. Saturday morning from 8am till midday the centre of town is taken over by producers and artists alike who showcase their wares.

WOW - World of Wearable Art & Collectable Cars
Discover the magic of the phenomena that is the World of Wearable Art. Every year there is a national competition for WOW and exhibited here are garments from throughout the years of competition that have really 'wowed' the public.
Also included is a collection of cars that will really take you back in time

The Bead Gallery
Not to be overlooked - Nelson has the largest Bead Gallery in the Southern Hemisphere. Here you can experience the delight of making your own jewellery or choose a selection of beads and they will handcraft a piece of jewellery out of them for you.

Brewery Tours
Nelson is New Zealand's only Hop growing region and is home to the famous Macs Brewery. Experience the brewing of beer legends like Macs Gold and Black Mac. Founders Organic Brewery is also situated in town - brewing local organic beers.

Harley Davidson Tours
Ride your own or take a tour up through the Takaka hills and down the West Coast. What a great way to see the countryside.

Garden tours
Nelson has many public and private gardens open for viewing. If you have a particular interest let Tania know and she will introduce you to the appropriate sites to visit. Miyazu is a Japanese garden on the outskirts of Nelson, established in tribute to Nelson's sister city Miyazu in Japan.

Nelson hosts several great golf courses.
